Cadyn's Summary: In the text Gravity! Do you feel it? by Buffy Silverman I learned first, there is less gravity on mars than the moon. The moon is closer to the Earth, and the closer to Earth there is more gravity. For example, when astronauts went on the moon they weighed less on the moon than Earth. Second, I learned the sun’s gravity holds the planets together because the sun’s gravitational pull is really strong. Last, I learned gravity pulls objects down to Earth. The main thing the author wanted me to know was how gravity works.
Ethan's Summary: The book that I read was Gravity! Do You Feel It? by Buffy Silverman. The main thing the author wanted me to know is that gravity pulls the things in the solar system together. First, if there was no gravity everything would float. Such as, if you jump in the air gravity will pull you down. Second, if you go to the moon you would weigh less than you do on Earth. For example, a girl went to the moon and weighed 12 pounds and on Earth the girl weighed 70 pounds. Finally, the force of gravity will depend on the distance of the two objects if they are far apart it will be hard for gravity to pull the objects together. The text is all about gravity. Gravity pulls thing in the solar system together.
Hali's Summary: In the text Seeds,Bees, and Pollen by Julie k. Lundgren, I learned that first, plants use various ways to reproduce. Flowers can be used to reproduce. Plants and flowers trade pollen to make more seeds. Pollen will travel through the wind and lands on other animals. Pollen goes off of the animals. It goes on the flowers. It helps them by putting pollen in the middle of the flowers so they reproduce. Second, conifers make cones and cones need pollen to reproduce. Cones must be open so it can put the seeds in the cones so it can make more cones. It puts the seeds in the ground. Third, ferns and mosses make spores and they need pollen. Ferns and mosses make cones without using other plants and they don’t use flowers. The main thing the author wanted me to know was the kind of ways all plants reproduce.

Pedyn's Summary: In the text Gravity! Do You Feel It? by Buffy Silverman, I learned gravity is a force that pulls objects together. Another key point, is the Earth's gravity is stronger than the moon's gravity. Also I learned, gravity pulls the Earth and the moon together. Furthermore, the sun's gravity holds the planets to the solar system. Also, there is less gravitational pull between Mars and our planet. But the main thing the author wants me to know is that gravity helps us stay to the ground.
Ashlyn's Summary: In the book Pull it Push It by Buffy Silverman, first I learned friction is force of two surfaces rubbing against each other. For example, a bike would not stop without our friction. Second, I learned when you catch the ball the force of your hands stops the ball from moving any farther. Last, I learned one force may move an object forward. While another force acts in the opposite direction. For example, two boys playing tug-a-war. I think the main idea is how you push and pull things every day.
Garrin's Summary: In the text Seeds, Bees, and Pollen by Julie K. Lundgren, I learned that every living thing makes more of itself. First, all living things reproduce. Plants use the various ways to reproduce. Ferns and mosses make spores to make new plants. Second, flower’s pollen flies through the air or on animals. Birds, bats, butterflies, and bees sip flower nectar as they feed their bodies sticks of pollen.Third, strawberries have runners to grow out from the main plant to sprout new plants. Also strawberries can grow flowers too. In conclusion, the text is about how living things reproduce.
